Yashar Zhalehdoust graduated with Honors and received his BS, MS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and MBA from UNH while working full time for a Fortune 500 company in the Aerospace field. He then moved back to Iran and co-founded and served as the CEO of the largest online insurance aggregator in the country called Azki.com, which currently has over 150 employees. After living in Iran for a couple of years, he then moved back to the US and currently works as a Business Program Manager at Microsoft based in Seattle, WA.
He has been involved in the web business since 2003 and is extremely passionate about the digital realm and online world. He is the founder of PersianRugs.com, which was sold a few years ago. He also manages 6 online directories for Iranian Realtors, Doctors, Dentists, Psychologists, Immigration Lawyers and Restaurants in the US & Canada via his digital marketing website Persian.net.
Also as an admin and host of the Persians at Microsoft he hosts monthly meetings and interviews special guests which consists of successful tech & non-tech Iranians.
